Maybe Paul will redeem himself this time....then again, maybe pigs will fly.

No, I don't.....and I'm already ticked that it's not.

ownership change for SPACE channel?

I don't have a news link... but it looks like Canada's 'SPACE' cable channel will be taken over by CTV as part of the CTV-CHUM network deal.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. CTV is not a genre-friendly network, so I don't know how much SPACE programming will benefit from this. SPACE also shared programming(eg. Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, Stargate etc..) with it's sister station CityTV. However CityTV is being sold off to Rogers Cable. Confusing much?

Woah, I missed this. That is pretty scary. Space has a very Chum/CityTV feel to it, so even if the programming doesn't change, the style of it likely will.

As I was researching this, I also discovered that the CRTC had just recently approved Chum's application to broadcast Space (and some of their other stations) in High Def. I wonder if that is still in the cards - my main issue with Space these days is that it's not in HD.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with the Jack Black comment.

1408 is going to get seen, I hope it'll be pretty good.
