How many ways can Henry die? How long can Abe keep the secret? Will Jo figure out Henry's secret?

The many deaths of Henry:

Pilot episode: Shot in the chest (thrown overboard of a ship by sheer force) in the late 1700's. Other deaths: On the N.Y. subway via a sharp object to his heart (2014).

Other deaths: A poison and death from a building jump (2014). A death (by gun shot) because he witnessed another death (circa 1920's?) and his "nemesis" slashing his throat so his secret would be safe (2014).

I know that I am missing a few deaths. What were they and when?

Henry's two loves: His first love betrayed him thinking that he was crazy. His second love helped him rescue Abe from a Jewish concentration camp of World War II. They married and raised Abe as their own child.

Abe is the ONLY mortal that KNOWS of Henry's secret. That is, according to Henry and Abe. However, it appears that Henry now has a "nemesis" that also has the same "affliction" as Henry and now stalks him!

I look very much forward to finding out who this "stalker" is (I'm willing to bet that we "may/might" have seen this person in the pilot episode).

Henry Morgan: portrayed by Ioan Gruffudd (you "might" recall him from the "Fantastic Four" movies).
Abe: portrayed by Judd Hirsch (you "might" recall him from "Taxi" and "Independence Day").
Jo Martinez: portrayed by Alana De La Garza. You "might" recall her from one of the "Law and Order" series.
Detective Hanson: portrayed by Donnie Keshawarz.
Lucas Wahl: portrayed by Joel David Moore. You "might" recall him from the movie "Avatar".

I have been thinking about adding a thread for Forever, which is one of my favorite new shows. It does have an active Campaign thread; but I don't think it will hurt to have one here, too.
So, thanks for making it!

Interestingly, Henry hasn't had to die in the last 2 episodes, and we haven't heard from his 'shadow'.

It isn't a great series (imo), Chris, but it's good enough for an otherwise barren Tuesday night. The relationship between Henry and his "son," Abe, has a very cool dynamic.

Hey Max! Good, I'm glad you're watching it, too.
I don't think it's going to win any Emmys, but it's a cool story and I like the cast.
Last I heard, ABC ordered more episodes for a full year series.
It seems to have found an audience.

I love how people thnk up new spin on old ideas. Henry does remind me of HIGHLANDER with his immortality, but they SPUN that to have him return to water where he died the first time.

Plus Ioan Gruffud is just AWESOME!! I got to meet him at DragonCon a couple years ago! He was SUPER sweet!

My son loved hiim as Capt. Horatio Hornblower in a series of TV movies around 10-12 years ago.

My favor role for him was as Lancelot in the movie KING ARTHUR with Clive Owen. OMG! I LOVE that movie!

Took me a while to find this thread but glad I did. This show is AMAZING! Best new show I have seen in years and Ioan is sexy. I am glad they signed a full season but really hope we get a second season.

Funny thing is, I had no interest in seeing this show and thought it sounded lame... saw the pilot by chance and was hooked!
