I loved how a crew of misfits and strangers all came together and began to rely on each other and protect each other. My favourite moments are the cowboys-in-space type moments, and how they would come to protect River. I'll need to think harder to come up with specific favourite scenes or episodes, though

There are so many memorable scenes to pick one favourite. I enjoyed the episodes with Saffron. oh, and when Niska asks Zoe to pick between Mal and Wash, and she doesn't even hesitate to pick Wash. Simon being amazed that Mal would defend him, even though he doesn't really like him, but just because he's part of his crew. River mocking Badger, and Kaylee making out in the engine room ... I'll stop now.
