Jewel is awesome. I loved her in this old show called Flash Forward with Ben Foster. And <3 her on Stargate Atlantis.

Haven't seen Flash Forward. Is it out on DVD?

I love her in Higher Ground (if only they could release it on DVD), in Wonderfalls (just bought and watched the DVDs), loved her brief appearance in Dead Like Me and her first appearance in Stargate Atlantis (I have yet to see her as Keller, but plan to get the DVDs) Firefly is of course a given

Jewel was the reason I checked it out in the first place. Her and Summer.

I was at a Buffy convention back in May 2004, which had three Firefly guests; Jewel, Summer and Nathan. Though I hadn't seen Jewel in anything and had only seen Summer's brief appearance in Angel at that time, I still ended up sitting and listening to their talk and I found myself really adoring Jewel as a person (the fact that she flipped Nathan the finger at the closing ceremony really sealed the deal for me). I bought the Firefly box set afterwards and, obviously, fell in love with the show. I got to see Jewel again two and a half years later, where I thanked her for introducing me to such a wonderful show. And will see Summer again in two months (unless something forces her to cancel), and will finally get to thank her, as well

Flash Forward was an old Disney production when Jewel was like 14. I don't think it ever went out to DVD, but I'll see if I can dig up the episodes.

Cool. I'd love to see it. And space cases. Here comes the disadvantage of living in Norway. So many shows never makes it over here

And already knew about the action figure. I'm still crossing my fingers that they make figures for the whole Serenity crew and not just Mal and Jayne. I would love to have a Kaylee figure. And a Simon one!

Believe me or not but for example we have a Firefly version without Mandarin...

maybe we are the only one in the world..

They never aired Firefly in Norway, period. To me that's even worse. I'm surprised everytime I find a norwegian who knows about the show... cause most often I have to explain it.

Yeah, cause what I really want is to watch every single thing on the television dubbed to a language I don't understand. At least that's one thing I don't have to worry about in Norway. There they tried dubbing one zitcom and it lasted one episode and never again...

usually in Italy the double versions are good but with Firefly they did such a bad job!! I can't stand it!! At least they tried to do better for Serenity..and suddenly we had the Mandarin... but can you imagine Mal speaking with the same voice of johnny Depp or Jayne with Vin diesel one?? Bleh..

that's why I watch Firefly / Serenity only in the original version..
