I liked the concept because they could really go into so many different directions and explore ideas

I remember that because I was terrified for years Ever since I've been trying find what the heck that was, it would probably look funny now.

That would be so cool if you found out and watched that scene again

I don't remember that either. I remember a Doctor Who episode which gave me nightmares, when a man tore his face off to reveal a hideous tentacle face with a single eye. I've watched it as an adult, and it looks so incredibly fake!

I've heard of the Outer Limits, but it's not something that I watched.

Of course I do! Growing up in the 1980's you still had local UHF channels that broadcast old TV shows like The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Lost In Space, etc. I remember The Outer Limits when it played in reruns on my local Philly TV stations. I don't remember if it aired on channel WKBS 48, WTXF 29, or WPHL 17. The Outer Limits was the main competition for The Twilight Zone.

^ I like Twilight Zone, too. I also watched Tales From the Darkside, but, I'm not sure if that qualifies as Sci-Fi/Fantasy. There was a channel here that carried all of the shows, up until they took the channel away in January.

I remember when I was really really little, my parents were watching V and it had something to do with someone tearing his face off and revealing they weren't human. Ever since then I had nightmares of standing at a crossroads, holding my mom or dad's hand and feeling secure until they rip their face off

Well, that’s lovely, Kia poor you!

I would have loved watching Tales from the Darkside as a kid but I didn’t have the station that carried it. I’m sure my parents wouldn’t have wanted me to, since they didn’t like my horror love.

Another show I loved was a British one called The Tripods.

And of course Hitchhikers Guide the Galaxy.
