I always watched Doctor Who when I was a child. I also saw Star Wars and Star Trek.

I read some fantasy-based books but I didn't read LOTR until I was 15.

I remember loving Wonder Woman and Batman on those old US shows too.

I used to read my brother's copy of 2000AD too.

I never watched the Star Wars movies as a kid, but I did go nuts over the made for TV movies of The Ewok Adventure and The Battle of Endor. Plus the Saturday morning cartoon Ewok show. I liked Ewoks

Also liked Superman!

Of course, I got hooked on the X-Files in the ‘90’s.

In 1985-86, I used to watch the tv show “Amazing Stories” which usually has some aspect of science fiction or a fantasy story.

I liked those Ewok cartoons, too. I didn't really associate them with Star Wars at the time though.

I watched the first three seasons of the X-Files.

As far as when I was a child, my mom didn't allow me to watch anything that may have scary characters in it. So I think the only ones I can say would be the Back To The Future, Men In Black movies, Indiana Jones, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Ghostbusters, Narnia movies, and Batman movies.
I was mainly a Disney kid!

When I was a teen though it was a different story, I watched a lot more Scifi shows and movies!

I haven't heard of that one.

Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie appealed to me when I was younger.
