I never even knew that there was a farscape thread. but i love this show. i can't wait until the miniseries comes out in october. i hope to see more commercials for it soon. the only time i've seen it was late night.

I've only seen one promo. The must show more and soon! After all, they always show promos for their stupid original movies. And every break, I see a Stargate promo.

I may be in the minority, but I like both Farscape and Stargate. Anyway, I've seen the promo for Farscape several times while watching Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Granted, I think it's the same promo over and over again. Maybe as the air date grows closer (October 17 is almost 3 months away) SciFi will increase the number and frequency of the promos.

I'm right there with you. Of course Farscape is held on a much higher scale for me. I first saw the teaser for the PeaceKeeper Wars during the season premire of StarGate: SG1. I have to admitt, after the teaser, I didn't feel that excited about Stargate anymore. I thought that the end of the show was wonderful. I love "to be continued" episodes. It leaves things up to the fans. As long as there is always a to be continued, there will never really be an end. Each fan can make his or her own "fic" about what happened.

I've grown to appreciate stargate, however, seeing how a partially blame it for the demise of stargate, I don't think I can ever be a true fan.

I've seen the promo a couple of times now, but not nearly as often as I see stargate ads.

I don't really watch stargate all that much. I've seen a couple episodes here and there, but that's about it. i didn't really like the movie, so i guess i never really gave the show a chance. i think that farscape is a lot better though.

as for the commercial time, i think they probably will show more as time gets closer, but i've seen more of the earthsea show promos than i have of farscape, and farscape is airing sooner than that other one. maybe its just the timing of when i watch the scifi channel.

My father loves Stargate, so I've seen a few episodes, but I find the show rather dull. I'm not a fan, but I don't hate it. I just don't like it.

Tori Higginson? I beg to differ. And about Stargate having it's good points, too.

To me, Stargate's dumbed-down plastic SF and it annoys me that it's succeeded and survived where better stuff has not.

And while I agree with all of your points, that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy it all.

Werd is that a second trailer, a full trailer was shown to the lucky peeps at comic-con, and it had a ton more stuff in it.
