I think it's a little of both.

You know, for a major series, there has been a distinct lack of rumors/spoilers going on about this mini-series.

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

I've been taking a bit of a break from Farscape lately, to catch up on some of my other DVDs. I'll get back into it when I start buying the S4 sets.

Here's a little tid-bit about Ben:

Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of `Charlie's Angels'
120 mins.

The series that jiggled its way to ratings heaven is recalled in this campy biopic about the casting of TV's sexiest threesome. Farrah: Tricia Helfer. Kate: Lauren Stamile. Jaclyn: Christina Chambers. Aaron Spelling: Dan Castellaneta. Fred Silverman: Dan Lauria. Jay Bernstein: Wallace Langham. Lee Majors: . Ben Browder Directed by Francine McDougall.

Cast: Dan Castellaneta, Dan Lauria, Tricia Helfer, Christina Chambers, Lauren Stamile, Ben Browder, Wallace Langham

You know, I have NEVER seen Ben in any thing else besides my BELOVED FARSCAPE. I am gonna watch it, due to the fact that I miss his and EVERY body elses face form my FARSCAPE, how about you???

Has anybody else seen the episode of Beastmaster with both Claudia and Anthony in it? I watched it accidentally one day while I was waiting for Farscape to come on, which happened to be on the same channel after Beastmaster ... I think it was the first time I'd seen Anthony out of the D'Argo makeup.

My only hope is that it's true.

Now, if only someone can magically summon up the channel it will be airing on.

I can't wait for the mini-series. Is scifi going to show them or will they go to another network? Or is it going to go straight to DVD?

I miss Farscape... I need to go buy some DVD's.. *sigh*

Do they have a proposed air date yet?

Hey everyone,

Skippy Doo, Thanks for so much for sharing that snippet about the miniseries. It's great to hear ANYTHING about what's going on / going to happen. I am particularly excited because I will have a full line up of cable channels by the time the miniseries airs (whenever that is), so even if the Sci Fi channel (*rolls eyes*) airs it, I will be able to see it.

Hey Myrrhine.

To be honest Ladeia, I don't think it's been decided just yet. The best bet is that Sci Fi network will not show it, at least, we would hope that they wouldn't even be offered it, after what they did in the beginning.

<- still bitter.

I watched the movie about Charlie's Angels last night. It was amusing. The campaign has jaded me about the likes of TV producers and network execs and it amused me to see them make fun of all those people involved in the business. Especially Barry Diller, former head of the USA Network holdings (including the Sci-Fi Channel).

Ben was Ben. Give him very little to work with and he'll still make it better. Sigh.

Hey Myrrhine, hey Skippy Doo, hey everyone.

SD: Thanks for the news. It sounds like they're making the miniseries to wrap up everything that was supposed to be wrapped up over the course of the fifth season. It is very bittersweet. Sorry, I know I should be very happy and overjoyed and everything, but I know I'll still feel empty and unsatisfied and wanting more when the miniseries is over. Maybe I just need some Prozac.

Oh, E7, maybe what you need is good TV.

I think all in all that our fight to save Farscape was a success, but getting a mini series instead of a 5th season is sad for lots of people. For myself, I see it as a possible springboard for feature movies or a franchise.

I've given up on TV for the moment. The cancellation of Angel is pretty depressing for me. I just don't think the climate is right for the kind of TV I like to watch. Maybe the reality tv revolution will end soon and genre shows will be treated a little better, but until then I'm thankful for DVDs.
