that would have been an interesting pairing. although i don't think D'argo ever totally got over Chianna,despite what she did to him.

I think Chiana did was partially because D'Argo was still living in the past, still attached to his wife in many ways. By doing what she did, I think she helped him free himself from those burdensome emotions.

In the end, though, I don't think it worked. I think he knew that, which is one of the reasons he chose to stay behind. He truly longed to be with his wife, no matter what.

It's sad really, from a character's perspective. You hope that your characters move on and develop, only to find that they really haven't gone anywhere. Somewhat upsetting. We should talk about other things. Which supporting character do you feel moved the most in their character.

ok, Chiana. she certainly grew in my opinion. look at her when she was first introduced in Durka Returns and then in PK Wars. you can see the growth of the character. she still has her flaws but she has matured alot.

I agree. I think Pilot grew a lot as well...though not as much as a liked.

As I thought about this question, it actually made me realize just how little Rygel grew as a character, though. It's someone sad.

Chiana matured but in the fourth season she was still a lot like she was in the first and second seasons. I think that the time she spent and what happened to her after leaving Moya at the end of season three really affected her adversely and she regressed. It didn't go into a whole lot of detail but it seemed as though she had been assaulted, perhaps numerous times.

I think that Rygel did grow and change a lot. In the first season, he was completely selfish and self-serving and cowardly. Later on, he became concerned about others, a little less selfish, and actually a bit vicious. D'Argo became less barbaric, more tactful, and a good friend.

Speaking of whom, I know others have suggested this, but it is possible that it was Crichton's child she was carrying.

But yeah, that whole peace treaty thing between the PK and the scarrens seemed very forced and incredible to me. For one, Scorpy being happy didn't make sense at all since he wanted the scarrens destroyed, not a peace treaty. And that treaty was only a piece of paper, so ultimately it was worthless.
