Something's fishy. The Sci Fi Schedulebot (yeah, that's what they call it) is now only showing 2 Eureka episodes on December 29th (Dr. Nobel & Blink) starting at 11/10c. I just checked tvguide.com and their listings have changed also.

I set my VCR to catch all six hours just in case the schedulebot and tvguide.com are wrong. I'm not holding my breath, though.

No.

One thing about watching Dr. Nobel and Blink back-to-back is that it's really obvious (to me) the episodes were aired out of order in the show's timeline. In Blink it appears to be Zoe's first day at school yet in Dr. Nobel she's in trouble for pulling the fire alarm at school. If Eureka had its own board at FF, the nitpicker's thread would be the most popular.

Maybe they'll fix the inconsistancies in season 2....or maybe, the inconsistancies are there for a reason.

A reason? Like giving us obvious stuff to nitpick since SciFi fans looooovvvvee to do that and we're going to do it whether they like it or not?

Maybe each episode is a different, parallel universe?

Yes, there will be a second season of 13 episodes to air during Summer 2007. No specific dates have been mentioned to my knowledge.

As to the webisodes, I just finished watching them this morning. They were cute. I am a little curious why episodes 1 and 7 (or is the prologue and 7?) both indicate they are 6+ minutes long but in reality are only a couple minutes like all the rest?

I wasn't aware of that for I downloaded all of the webisodes put together to make one mini-episode (in chronological order, of course.)

Have you listened to the podcasts? Supposedly there is some mention of why the episodes were aired out of order and how they tried to minimize the inconsistencies caused by the changes.

eta: just read an article about SciFi's fourth quarter ratings and saw this:
Quote:
Channel highlights for the year include the series premiere of Eureka July 18, which was the highest-rated and most-watched series to air on SCI FI in the network's history, with a 3.3 household rating and more than 4 million viewers.
ETA: I watched last night's repeat of H.O.U.S.E. Rules and I cannot believe that the first 2 times I saw it I somehow missed Carter asking Stark to make his bed for him and later asking him if he tucked in the corners.

FWIW, Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter) has a role in the new Diane Keaton film "Because I Said So."

eta: don't anybody rush out and see the movie for Colin Ferguson. According to someone over at TWOP, his character has no lines at all.
