It was okay. I've always preferred the books to the tv show.

Have you read the books?

My co-worker received White Night for Christmas and handed it to me yesterday for reading (I'll have to give it back, darn). Unfortunately I'm in the middle of 4 other books so I need to finish at least two of them first.

You read more than one book at once?

Usually just one at home (hardcover) and one paperback I keep in my purse. Always different genres otherwise it does get confusing. Not sure how I ended up with 4 books at once.

Unless there is a last minute change (which has happened in the past ), Storm Front is supposed to air Saturday morning at 3:00 EST. This is supposed to be the television movie version. I will set my VCR before I go to sleep tonight.

Wow, so it's really low on SciFi's radar.

It aired and I taped it and watched it. There were some scenes added that filled in some missing pieces but there was also extraneous stuff that I would have preferred replaced with other scenes from the book. Also, we only got the voice of Terrance Mann coming from a glowing skull instead of the man himself (booooo!). I can understand wanting to follow the books description of Bob but they missed the mark, IMO.

Yeah, I preferred the TV Bob over the Book Bob....his facial expressions were so much better.

Overall I preferred the books to the series. The change in Bob was one thing I enjoyed about the series.

Only a couple more weeks for 'Small Favor' to be released.

I liked Terrance Mann, and I can understand how a talking skull would not work very well for a TV series, but I still preferred Book Bob overall. TV Bob was relatively tame and serious compared to Bob from the books. I prefer James Marsters' Bob from the audiobooks.

My son did. He's home now, so I started reading it yesterday.

The dedication is cute
