i've missed the show a couple of weeks, but i always find it entertaining when i do watch it.

This show does a masterful job of balancing the hilarious with the poignant without seeming ridiculous. For example, in "Vacation", hilarious=having to manually enter everyone's last thoughts, the towering pile of "pet regrets", and everything about Crystal.

Poignant=George's continued longing for a life she never seemed very happy with, her mother's belated but still unmistakable efforts to reach out to her grieving little sister, and the shocker that Mason would turn down a possible tango with Daisy because he got a peek through that chic armor she wears. I'm enjoying this show more and more as it goes along, and I find myself looking at the annoyances in my own life differently sometimes. Good stories do that.

Crystal is absolutley hilarious. Everytime I saw her, I knew something great was going to happen....and it never failed me.

I so wish we could have had season three, 'cause I just know we would have found out a lot more about her eventually...

It's a shame they couldn't have done a Crystal Centric or Delores Centric episode....it would have been nice to do things from their point of view.

^ They would have had to use special camera techniques for a Delores central episode. Given the speed with which Delores whizzes around, I'm quite certain the rest of the world runs very sloooooooooowly.

Too bad Shotime won't learn it's lesson.

One of my fav episodes was on tonight...the one where George is absolutely mean to the new guy at work.....ah yes, so nice.

I loved this show. I saw they were going to be putting it on Sci-Fi. Gawd I love that channel. They know a thing or two about good tv. I've seen them all already so I haven't been watching the reruns. I bet they had to edit a lot though. I really like George/Mason. I wasn't too fond of Daisy. They kept trying to give her depth with this whole past they never quite delved into but she was always so shallow it was distracting. I remember iconing a long time ago that bit where george was playing with the stickies. I loved that. That was soooo something I'd do at work. I played around a lot.

I have seen the show a few times. What is she? A ghost? Is she the grim reaper? Maybe if I knew what she is I could get an understanding of the show.

She is A grim reaper.

Here's how it goes....

Each Reaper has a per-ordained number of souls that they must collect. Once they collect the souls and usher them into the afterlife, they move on to something else.

While they can see each other for who they are, everyone else sees them as someone different. They can also see Souls and Gravelings.

Reapers are organized by type of death...some specialize in natural deaths, others in plagues.....George is in Violent Deaths.

It's a great concept, and the seasons are very cheap, if you can find them, I highly recommend hitting season 1, it's a great way to kill a day or two.
