Cryostar, you were right. Haunted was both amazing and bittersweet. I really can't imagine the movie without Laura or Mandy now, not that i won't appreciate the movie but it's going to be tough watching others taking their place.

I wonder what happened to the evil man maybe he became a graveling? i don't know

lauren, thankfully they didn't recast Rube, they simply moved his character on, and replaced him. I am worried about replacing Laura, she brought so much to her character, the change in Daisy won't go over well.

I kinda wish they'd replaced Daisy with another character as well as Rube and that guy from Lost's character (speaking of which, as if it's going to be anything but weird seeing Desmond as a grim reaper).

Daisy was the best after all (next to Rube, Mason, Roxy, George, ...) it's a pity Larua isn't in the movie

I warmed up to Daisy but it's mostly because of how the actress played her.

I liked her because she became an anti-thesis to herself...a grim reaper obsessing about religion.

I liked Daisy, but I still preferred George, Mason & Roxy. I just mean that I could have accepted a new character rather than having to buy a different actress playing the same character. Although, I can understand why they wouldn't want to introduce TWO new characters into the movie, especially when Rube's replaced by some weird guy.

Yeah, I just wish they'd managed to get Laura for the movie. And Mandy. But it's gonna be great to see (whenever it actually comes out) George, Mason, Roxy & all the others again.

I really liked Betty, even though she was only there for a short bit. I liked her better than Daisy actually, who I liked enough but it's not like I would've been upset if she was gone.

I thought Betty was nice. It always seemed that Daisy was too akin to Betty in a lot of ways. Honestly, I just want the question answered....what happened to her.

I think that was what initially bothered me about Daisy. Except what I liked about Betty was that she really was the simplest character, and I mean that in the best way. She was happy in life and she was happy in death. She took what life (or death) gave her and rolled with it, making the best out of any situation that comes. The exact opposite of George. It was a nice contrast. Daisy, I guess, seemed happy but she had that whole "I wish someone would love me" storyline thing and honestly I didn't like that. I don't think it really worked for her character. It didn't work for me anyway.

Thus is the problem with simple characters. If they don't grow, how does the series last. Eventually something has to drive them, and we have to find it out.

True, but I think there's an allowance for it in the supporting characters. After a time there probably would have been something, such as the need to "jump". Since the show was mostly centered around George, especially in the beginning, it worked for me. Either way it's a moot point I guess since the show didn't last. Hopefully the movie will come out in the not too distant future.
