My son is enjoying the show with me now and we watched 2 more episodes tonight. We were very disappointed that Betty left in episode 5.
She was so much fun! I've read that the series creator, Bryan Fuller, also left the show after episode 5. Do you all feel it suffered or changed a lot at that point? __________________

Yay for continuing your watch of the show!
That's cool your son likes it too.I feel the show changed after Bryan left but in some ways it was for the better but I feel the 'rules' for the reapers weren't followed as much or they didn't honor the canon he set up as well as when he was there. I will say though that one of my favorite episodes came after he left and I liked that they developed Betty's replacement to be more well rounded as a character. __________________
