Well, then it begs the question. Is George's Dad gay? If he was originally intended as gay and indeed that was hinted at during the pilot, is the real George's dad the gay one as initially portrayed, or the straight one as it was eventually switched to?

The man does like Shakespeare's sonnets.

I don't really have a preference for him to be either, except that if Fuller had him as gay to begin with, he should have stayed gay.

My theory is that he is gay, but that he's still in the closet about it.

Someone on another website said that Superchannel in Canada aired the movie on January 1st. Any Canadians around who can confirm or deny?

I just made a vow to pay off my credit card and then put it away and not buy ANYTHING more from Amazon until after my holiday... and then I remembered I haven't got the dvd movie yet... so I may be breaking that vow pretty early!

It was more than hinted at in the pilot. So he's bisexual.

So I've found an advance copy of this through a friend of mine. Skimmed through it. No Dad. No Rube . But, it looks like it has it in all the right places....hopefully I can watch it in the not so distant future.

That's good to hear, I hope I can watch it soon too, but I'm not going to be able to afford it yet, will probably try and make someone give it to me for my birthday, most likely scenerio. It's expensive with the current dollar.
