that was my first impression of him too.

I do like that 3, still essentially the gun loving nut, changed. He values the lives of his crew.
Agree. As he realized that the crew depended on each other to survive, and that others would have his back, he started to reciprocate.

Exactly. He's not alone, and he knows that now.

I think knowing that the others cared about him made a big difference.

No, he wasn't, but he certainly caught on. 3 finally had a place to belong.

This, and I think that was true for Two and Five in particular too.

In S2 they became friends, in S3 they became family. Even 6 was essentially forgiven, and his place on the crew restored.

I just finished S1 and the first few episodes of S2 after meaning to check this out for ages, and I find out it's cancelled.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this because I had my issues with Mallozzi and Mullie when they ran SGA but I really liked it. All the cast are good so far and I enjoyed the mystery of who they were unfolding and the twists with One and Six etc.

It's interesting to watch a show with missing memories as the whole premise. It often happens in sci fi but only for one or two episodes. After this I'm also going to have to check out Blindspot I guess.

Glad you enjoyed the episodes that you've seen.

As to the missing memories, yes, it was interesting to see most of them take it as a fresh start, and to try and become better people.

I liked the missing memory aspect. Even though they found who they were, they chose not to be defined by it. They made the choice to go a different way.

Exactly! We never really learned how their original selves became so self-centered. It was nice to see that even though they were continually confronted by their past lives, they continued to choose to be different now that they had a clean slate.

That's what I like the most, their choice to be better.

I completely agree.

It would have been nice to learn more about Five's backstory.
