They were in stasis, and Five wrote a program that was supposed to target the memories of who they discovered Six to be, and wipe them. But something went wrong with the program and everyone's memories got wiped.

Dark Matter was canceled.
 https://tvline.com/2017/09/01/dark-m...syfy-season-4/ I was a little shocked by this. I knew Killjoys did slightly better in live ratings but with live+7 that Dark Matter was on top. Plus DM is on Netflix in America at least while Kiljoys isn't. I'll admit i got bored with Dark Matter because I didn't find the characters as engaging. Maybe it was because it had a bigger cast I dunno. Plus it had that whole unfolding mystery thing unfolded. I feel a lot of shows have tried to copy that formula in some way or another so it's sort of lost its charm for me. I was planning on trying to get back into it though. I won't now because I heard it ended on a cliffhanger. So that makes me sad for all those who were still watching it. __________________
