| Elite Fan | news on Anita Blake: ANITA BLAKE CONVENTION SPECIAL Dabel Brothers Production has announced a pencils-only version of the first issue of the comic-book adaptation of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guily Pleasures will be available at Wizard World Chicago on Aug. 4-6. The regular version of the book will ship in mid-August. The convention special will feature the pencils of artist Brett Booth. "We really wanted to offer something unique to our fans who have waited so long and so patiently for this title," said Ernst Dabel, president of DB Pro. "And this book is absolutely gorgeous. "We often forget when we publish our comics that while we have had the opportunity to see the artwork at every stage Â* pencils, inks, colors, and letters Â* our readers only get to see the completed product.
