I just watched my copy of the 'Once More With Feeling' this morning. My daughter was saying 'Are you sure this is an episode of Buffy?'!

Really enjoyed it. I'd forgotten about Xander's girlfriend. I've forgotten her name. I've seen that actress in other things since then, too.

Such a great episode! I cried when Buffy sang about being ripped from Heaven, although I did remember whilst watching it that, that moment was coming. And she kisses Spike at the end! Finally!

That's Anya, Claire. Xander's girlfriend. She was so full of personality-unusual personality. Really liked her for most of the series.

I loved each song, so much. I'm so glad you watched and enjoyed it this morning.

I didn't enjoy the Dark Willow/Drug addiction parallel. I mean I understood that, but I don't think they did it well. It just seemed out of place, and...well, I just hated it.

As for Xander, I'm pretty sure that the interference between Buffy and Angel, in Becoming part 2 where he didn't tell her Willow was trying the spell again, that sealed it for me.

He put her through such hell as a result.

I don't remember it well enough to remember Xander doing that. I think the main problem was he didn't have much of a personality. I liked him with Anya, but he was so unsure and self-destructive in his relationship with her, which was annoying.

I liked her too. I like people who say what they mean. And I remember that about her.

It was annoying. He had no personality of his own, except to be bossy with other people, and kind of, to tell them they weren't good enough.

I agree with you! I love Anya for speaking her mind, and her feelings. Even if I didn't agree with what she said all the time, I love that she said it.

What kills me is Joss says Xander was HIM! Joss thought Xander was a cool. though flawed, character.

I hated to think Joss was that judgmental and superior acting, so I had to think he meant Xander to be something different. The way Xander came across just wasn't good.

Did you guys like Faith? Or no? I know most people I've talked to either loved her, or hated her. No in-between.

I'm an in between! I didn't care much for Faith either way.

Nothing wrong with not liking her. I hated her when she first came along, Claire

Finally someone who didn't care strongly about her either way. She was really good on Angel. I liked her when she came back to Buffy in season 7 too.

Well I'm glad you ended up liking her. I did try Angel one time, but I didn't like it.
