Borg VS Replicators

If the Borg fought the SG-A Replicators who do you think would win?

No ties
No draws

Who do you think would win?

Borg. Think it should be fairly easy.

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

I have to go with the SG-A Replicators. The Borg shouldn't be able to assimilate them and the Replicators should be able to use the Borg ships agaisnt them similar to the way the SG-1 Replicators did to the Asgard. Also, they should be able to turn the non organic Borg parts against them.

Replicators use ALL technology and the more powerful technology they find the better they are, so I would say the Replicators...

Though... I don't yet know if the SG-A Replicators are any different to the SG-1 ones aaaand I also don't know what this 'borg' is of which you speak. Though I do know a lot about Cyborgs.

The Borg are way cooler than the replicators, but that makes sense, seeing as Trek has worth and Stargate is mostly crap.

Ouch.

I look at it like this.

Borg tech is at the cellular level. Replicators are a bit more macro than that. Given this, as soon as the replicators become infected with nano-probes, it's all over.

Jen used to post on the anti-Angel thread with me, many years ago, so presumably she knows I express my views when I don't like something.

I found Stargate 100% lacking in depth and wasn't impressed with the original SG1 cast or characters. The only one of the four that I didn't actually dislike was Daniel and I wasn't impressed by him. Ben Broder and Claudia Black added to the show, but they couldn't make it a decent show. Atlantis has some better castmembers than the original SG1 cast, but it's still a zero depth show. Stargate often seems to me like the showmakers aren't bothering and are just trying to make money. I haven't seen Universe, but I'm against it, because it's based around Robert Carlyle, who sneered at LOTR and Star Wars.

Oh yeah I totally know what to expect

Arguing is futile.

And "many years ago"? That makes me feel old.

It's many years ago by FF standards. So many people posting on FF now didn't join til years after that.

I might be wrong but the way I understood it was that each Replicator was composed of millions or billions of nanites,so the Borg nano-probes might be incapable of infecting them. They ran into a similar problem with Species 8472's DNA being too complicated to overwrite.

Jen, we are old now.

Kendra, while possible, the replicators still exist on a macro level from the cellurlar based nanites. The borg would eventually adapt, and once they adapt, the replicators are done.

A replicator is a thing for making coffee, anyway.
