I, too, enjoy the series. A co-worker and I discuss each episode the following Monday and have picked up all the books (she's read them all and I'm on the final volume).

Drawn and Quartered: Enjoyed the episode except for the final confrontation with the killer. Something about the staging and what part each character played. Always good to see Tom McBeath (Stargate fans will recognize him as Maybourne). Poor Coreen - always getting the short end of the stick in romance. to appearances by Dave and Mohadevan, even though they were brief. And I totally figured out Maya's relationship to Henry and the method of death for the victims before they were revealed. Not sure if that's because it was predictable or because I read and watch way too much fiction, especially whodunits and scifi/fantasy.

I do agree with the comments about the age gap. I think vicky is okay but Vicky and Hentry making out, sorry but .

Wrapped: similar to the 4th book in the series titled Blood Lines in that there is a mummy wreaking havoc and Henry is dreaming about the sun. The details, including origin of the mummy, were very different. Despite the differences, I enjoyed the episode and was surprised by Vicki's choice. As always, not happy with no appearance by Mohadevan or Dave, but I can live with it. Also, I always get a kick out of Danny Trejo and am convinced there's a pact in Hollywood to cast him in every vampire series/movie humanly possible.

i'm so angry at myself..i have only seen one episode this season..cause i keep forgetting the new time slot. I remember how i thought the new time slot would work better for me.....yeah guess i was wrong on that haha. i wish i could remember it, cause i usually have nothing to do friday at 11..so it's pretty much my memory's fault lol

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Not bad. No Dave but at least Kate wasn't whiny this week. Mohadevan wasn't as chipper as usual but put Vicki and Mike in their places nicely. Liked Coreen and her contributions. Glad the rift between Vicki and Henry wasn't glossed over though it's obvious things have calmed down - kind of like real life fights. I'm guessing Charles/Kelly/Sidney will be back someday - if the show continues.

Funniest line: Definitely dead.

Speaking of which, according to Tanya Huff's blog at lifetimetv, the next two episodes will only be seen online? Why? No, seriously, why?!?!

When trying to locate information about DVDs, I found this website I'd never seen before: Blood Ties home Unfortunately, the only thing in the website's store is a poster and the blog said nothing about upcoming DVDs. Tanya Huff's Official Website (Tanya Huff :: Official Site - Home) has no information either. Nor Tanya's live journal blog. I also checked tvshowsondvd.com and found no indication of DVDs being sold. If they ever do get released, you can bet I'll be buying them.

I don't know about the rest of the world but here in the UK we had the dvd's out as soon as the series finished. Try amazon.co.uk I am sure they still have them.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, the DVDs being sold at amazon.co.uk are Region 2 which won't work for me. It also appears to be just the episodes. Someone on another board said that Dylan Neal mentioned at a convention in March that U.S. DVDs will be out this summer and include outtakes and extras. I hope this is correct because I'm a little spoiled with regard to DVDs and expect extras.

I just started watching the pilot. Is there any news on whether it was renewed or not?
