I like how they're playing boomer.

I love adama.

They dynamic is great, then again, I think Ron Moore is a great scifi mind...it's good to see him at work again.

i'm finding it incredibly slow personally. however Helo is gorgeous so at least there is the eye candy factor

Heh. You're probably not liking the Ron Moore style.

Don't worry, once he heats things up, they really cook. Look at DS9 as an example, it took a while to build up to what the real action was.

Well i simply love it!! And a really don't think it's too slow!!!

Every week i can(t wait to see the next episode!!
i must add that I'm french and here the show is not on tv.. I have to find it somewhere else.... It prooves how much i like it!!

I'm in the U.S. as well, so I have to hunt for it after it airs on Sky One too. I just saw 1.05, and it was exhilirating.

Seeing them gut a cylon raider was interesting.

I'm up here in Canada and I saw the 2 part mini-thingy that they had. I remember here about the show coming in the Fall or in the Winter time. Do you know if SPACE up here is playing it yet?

BURBANK, Calif. -- December 6, 2004 -- NBC's Saturday-night universe will expand to showcase "Battlestar Galactica" -- SCI FI's hit miniseries that proved to be cable's most-watched miniseries of 2003 -- in a special three-hour presentation on Saturday, January 8 (8-11 p.m. ET) prior to SCI FI's new series premiere of "Battlestar" on January 14.

Originally broadcast as a four-hour miniseries that updated its original predecessor, "Battlestar Galactica" will be edited to three hours to accommodate NBC's primetime schedule on January 8.

Directed by Michael Rymer ("Queen of the Damned") and written by Ronald D. Moore ("Carnivale," "Roswell"), the miniseries -- and subsequent series -- stars Edward James Olmos ("Stand and Deliver," "Blade Runner") as Commander Adama, who leads the last remnants of humanity in their war against a new and deadlier breed of Cylons.

Personaly I think editing it down to 3 hours from 4 will be a big improvement. Some parts went on for far too long. IMO

I like this remake. I am french Fan of the original serie but this new version is very good. I prefer the remake to the original, even though I always remain a big fan of Battlestar Galactica 1978.

I like them both about the same. They're so different that it's hard to compare them. Still, i'm through 1x09...and I'm still in love with it, though I wanted to space his wife......DIE BEOTCH!
