I know there has to be at least a few people out there that have read these storys. Anita Blake: The vampire slayer. But this isn't Buffy we're talking about. Cuz Buffy never had it so good.

Anita Blake is a animater, she raises the dead. Mostly for lawers and such. Like if someone died before writing there will his/her could have another chance.

From there theres Jean-Claude her vampire suiter. But for those that haven't read these storys I say go out and get them. Those that have read and enjoyed them know the books kick ass. So talk about them here.

I've read up to The Killing Dance and really didn't like the direction the series took with that book, so I haven't been able to bring myself to read the rest of the books yet.

What do you mean? Are you not an Edward fan?

I came across the series by chance, a few years ago when Pepsi was having one of their contests where you collect bottle caps for points to earn a prize. I got enough to get a free book from amazon or some website like that. I had heard about the book somewhere, and figured I didn't want to waste my money on something that sounded SO ridiculous.

Boy was I wrong. This is a *great* series - totally addictive. The last book I read was "obsidian butterfly" - have there been 1 or 2 more since then?

If you haven't read these books, or think the idea sounds odd...take a chance and read anyway, I'm sure you'll be pleasently surprised.

Edwards fun for a souless killer. Olaf too!

But I like Asher the most.

MagnusXXN:
Edwards facinates me .. I like him perhaps a bit too much. I like the idea of someone so far gone .. still breaking the rules for Anita. I see him as having already made the journey Anita is making .. and he is starting back toward humanity.

Olaf makes for a great adversary for Anita. So I like him in that reguard. In all others .. he's just scary.

Asher, I truly adored until CS .. now .. I just can't quite trust him .. cause of the rolling thing .. not that he's given any big reason not to. But I can't.

I think Edwards already to far gone to start going back for his lost humanity. But he holds tight to those last shreds, hince Anita and his new 'family'.

Olaf, well hes a heartless murdering rapest. But for some reason I like him. Don't get me wrong, I'd never want to meet someone like him. But jsut reading about him is fasinating.

I have to defend Asher here! Anita BEGGED him to take her! To roll her mind. And thats what he did. How was he suposed to know that was against the rules when she never told him? And if she was SOOO against it, then why did she ask him too?

But she and he have worked out there little disbute already. And now with JC there a happy little threesome.

I always liked Asher. I don't think there's really anyone I don't like. Well, Richard's not a favorite. But I just have a grudge because he's a werewolf and I HATE them.

Lately, Anita has been really pissing me off. I'm just not liking her anymore, but that doesn't stop me from reading the books. I love Jason and Edward and Jean Claude and all the wereleopards. I detest Richard. I read the books out of order so I developed my dislike for Richard before I read Circus of the Damned. And I didn't like him in that one either. I also like Larry. I think that's his name.

Yes, most of the guys shy of Richard are neat. The wolf king is just a pain in the ass. Some needs to shoot him. Did you leave Asher out on perpose?

No, Asher is okay. When he was first introduced, I really liked him. But he's mellowed a bit. I like him and Damien. I forgot both. There's only two people that I'm not crazy about Richard and Anita. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] But Anita is growing, while Richard will forever remain an @sshole.
