I just finished the Season 2 boxed set. I thought that all of the rescued High Guard ships were coming to the rescue by Achilles and all of the rest. They showed a ship that resembled the Achilles, but Dylan didn't make a mention that it was them.

The resolution of the finale was pretty weak compared to the high of S1's finale.

Wasn't the season two finale the one where we all presumed the crew were all dead? I actually loved that finale!

My light/dark universe comment was a reference to what happened in Lexx,but since you haven't seen all the episodes I won't spoil it for you.You know,Lexx started out as a very good innovative science fiction mini-series on cable here in the States,but once the Scifi channel picked it up,it turned into soft porn.

I own seasons 1 -3 of Lexx, so I know what you mean about the soft-porn comment!

I just watch it because it's so frelling weird and...and... WEIRD!!

I do know about the final season, Earth etc, blowing it up at the end...yada yada yada... I got spoiled at the official Lexx message board years ago.

No that was the S1 Finale / S2 Premiere episode. Rommie was saying "Code Red. Officers down on Command Deck" over and over.

The S2 Finale was the one where those Predator type aliens were attacking the Andromeda while the 50 Commonwealth ambassadors were there to sign the treaty. Basically they were appearing/disappearing at will while killing off delegates. Then tens of thousands of their ships were coming out of a temporal rift ... and then Dylan's deus ex machina bomb saves the day.

Oh yeah! The finale that was a happy ending one hey. I did not like that one... I much prefer the finales to be bad and unexpected...eg: s1, s4. What was s3's again? Geez, my mind is like a sieve today! I guess i'd better re watch every episode of Andromeda s1 - s4 again hey.

Actually, Lexx started off elsewhere, and as usual, Skiffy picked it up and killed it, turning it into some pointless show. I get the comments though. I can't stand much past season 2 of the series, though.

I prefer Eva, though.

After thinking about how this season compares to S1 & S2, I thought the formation of the Restored Commonwealth was too fast. I get the feeling that all of those races are gullible little kids giving a $1 to their big brother and then crying b/c they took it from them.

I'm getting the feeling that Tyr is at least partially right that Dylan is restoring the universe in his own image. Basically he's bullying bullies and gaining loyalty from the bullied. Opposing the Andromeda will only lead to their downfall since the bullies will keep on bullying unless the bullied have a bigger bully on their side. what a bunch of 'bull' huh?
