Yeah I wouldn't mind either (on a very small percentage level) because it did end on a good note but I am highly addicted/obsessed /c the 4400 and with where the show decided to go, it would be so awesome to see what happens in this new world!

Sure a lot was tied up but there are now more questions, which is always the fun part:

-Did Tom take the shot?
-Will Maia start accepting her role in Promise City and rebel against her mom?
-Will Shawn continue to run for government?
-What will ultimately happen in Seattle?

I think now that they've taken the show to this new direction, there could be some very amazing storylines for a season 5. I sure am praying for it!

I agree with both of you.
Though some part of me wouldn't mind if it ended but some part of me would... like you said Ron there's still a lot that is left open...

But hey my biggest thing right now if the storyline of Alana & that's it lol
But yeah I have a feeling Tom will take the shot cause he is destined too...
I wonder is Richard knows what happened to Isabell.

I am very impressed on how The 4400 has evolved. From the first season, it could have been X-files-ish by having a freak of the week. The idea of having the Promicin shot really opened up great story ideas which will stem into next season b/c there are so many questions to answer. Will there be coup-de-etats to overthrow governments? How will the regular people react when everyone starts getting abilities and they bill it a "Clear and present danger".

They can either go the whole X-men route where fear from govt stems into already made factions of peaceful co-existance (Shawn) or the brotherhood (Jordan).

Good stuff....

Watched the finale tonight finally and loved it. So many exciting possibilities for next season. I hope we get another season.

We're working on it! A bunch of us 4400 fans have rallied over at the USA network forums. We're hoping that by sending letters we will be able to generate some noise. (if you check it out I go by SWJaggy).

Okay this is going in a small direction but I am officially boycotting Heroes this season. I'm angry with it because it is becoming a cop-out of the 4400. There was an article about it in Entertainment Weekly and what's in store doesn't seem original. If you want to watch what they are doing go back to season 2 of the 4400 (i.e. virus related).

This show may be original in some aspects such as the whole comic book thing but aside from that it's a re-do of the 4400.

all shows copy from each other. Story twists are always the first ones to get "borrowed".

I'm not watcdhing Chuck b/c it's a sketchy concept. It's similar to Jake 2.0 which was a better show but if Chuck was both the CIA & the nerd, I would probably check it out for nostalgia of Jake.

I watch Heroes, I'm a huge fan of it, in my opinion Heroes is in no way like the 4400, it's completly different from other shows I've watched, The whole have abilities is very very different from the 4400 story... eh just saying

The only thing I like about heroes is the whole Petrelli family line stuff with Claire being related to Peter & Nathan but I still think it's a cop out (one's opinion)

You'll be missing out. Chuck was by far the best pilot I saw at SDCC. In fact, it got a standing ovation. Chuck is hilarious, especially the lead, Zack Levi.

If Heroes is a knock off of The 4400, then I sure wish The 4400 could have gotten some more of those Heroes fans to watch so we wouldn't be stuck here wondering if The 4400 will get another season or not. :C

I managed to tape over the finale of The 4400 before I watched it. Now I have to wait for it to repeat - which will probably be in a couple months at some horrendous late night/early morning hour on a Wednesday or Thursday.
