I think that The 4400 was suppose to be just a miniseries back in 2004 but people really liked it as well as the critics so it was turned into a series.
It looks like Shawn and Kyle have swapped roles in a way. It used to be that Kyle was the sensible one and not a radical while Shawn was a rebel and a big follower of Jordan. Now it's like the complete opposite. In the next episode, Kyle calls Shawn a traitor.

Yeah, they had it that way for a reason. By doing a 5 episode mini series they would have a beginning and an ending so should the season not get picked up then at least it would have closure.

Thankfully it continued on.

I am spoiler free so I look forward to tonight's episode!

I'm glad that they didn't drag out April's disappearance. I thought that her bf was using her more than loved her.

I knew that the April was going to join the gov't w/ an ability like hers.

I'm still disappointed that Maia hasn't had a good role so far. Now that the govt is recruiting promicin abilities, I'm expecting a good vs bad battle just like last season.

I kept expecting April or Diana to comment that although she wasn't in a traditional prison, she's pretty much a prisoner in her new life.

I, too, miss a more prominent Maia.

I didn't expect for them to say that at all. While it may be a prison of some sort, at least it's a job. April has never had any steady jobs in her life so at least she has something to keep her grounded (even if she does end up traveling a lot). And April has a clothing allowence, so what could be better for her?!

Despite the struggles this new job may have, at least April won't be bouncing around from place to place on her own. And at least she won't be using her ability for black mail anytime soon.

I'm happy for April. She has always been "the black sheep of the family" so now I think she can finally leave that title behind.

I finally rented the first season!

I've been recording all the episodes from the new season so maybe I'll be able to watch 'em soon.

Maybe I'll skip the second season and go straight to the third and then watch what I recorded so far. I don't know... But finally I get to watch the beginning.

S4 is going in a weird direction. I want to see how far they go.

Hopefully it isn't alot of promise w/ no payback like the last season of Andromeda. That still gives me nightmares about how bad it was.

Ok, I'm almost done with S2. I start S3 tomorrow. I'll soon be watching all the S4 episodes that have aired so far. Ahhhh...

This series is really good.. I'm surprised it took me so long to watch it.

I was wondering over something that happend in the first episode of S4.

When Jordan came back from the dead everyone of course made a big thing of it as you would expect. Now he would have had to have had help from the future people to come back..they did it for him.

Now when Kyle gave Shawn the promicin shot that woke him up, Shawn died first he was flatlined for a couple of minutes and no one did CPR on him, he came back by himself. Wonder if this will have any significance in the future?

Surprisingly, I don't think it will. Tom all ready has a feeling that Kyle was the one who injected Shawn but because it's his son he won't turn him in. And the only evidence he really has is the visitors log from the hospital which isn't really much. (just my two cents).

As for season 4, I really love the direction it's taking. The entire show is growing and this season seems to have added more of the sci-fi element into it. I'm sure that we will get the answers that the writers and directors are promising us. I'm just curious as to what answers lie to what questions.
