•Spartacus {Blood & Sand}•#2:"Kill them all" - Spartacus

Betrayed by the Romans. Forced into slavery. Reborn as a Gladiator. The classic tale of the Republic’s most infamous rebel comes alive in the graphic and visceral new series, "Spartacus: Blood and Sand." Torn from his homeland and the woman he loves, Spartacus is condemned to the brutal world of the arena where blood and death are primetime entertainment. But not all battles are fought upon the sands. Treachery, corruption, and the allure of sensual pleasures will constantly test Spartacus. To survive, he must become more than a man. More than a gladiator. He must become a legend.

Starring Australian actor, Andy Whitfield (McLeod's Daughters) as Spartacus, Lucy Lawless ("Xena: Warrior Princess") as Lucretia, John Hannah (The Mummy, Four Weddings and A Funeral) as Batiatus and Peter Mensah (300, The Incredible Hulk) as Doctore, this unique mix of live action, graphic novel effects and brutal battle sequences is set to make "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" an epic television event.

ChakotaysLover 04-04-2014 02:19 PM

she definitely was NOT affraid to speak her mind to him or to argue or insult him!! hahahaha!!! I totally ship Laeta and Spartacus, but then again I shipped Myra and Spartacus too!! LOL!

:woot:

i would have to say I liked Crassus the most. He wasn't overly arrogant like all the others who went head to head with Spartacus. He took the time to master the skill of the Gladiator, to set himself in the place of Spartacus, to learn how to anticipate the moves of his enemy.

Oh yeah I also loved Mira/Spartacus too and I loved how in the end he remembered her :(

Crassus was certainly complicated  I'll have to say Illythia too. I loved to hate her  Viva did an amazing job  but Caesar made me laugh  he didn't seem threatening at all :lmao:

When spartacus allowed himself to take comfort it was always bitter sweet.

I was REALLY RERALLY REALLY hoping that Gannicus would slice Caesar open from stem to stern... but..... Caesar was saved from death because he still had a life to be led, and an adultery to committ with the Queen of Egypt! LOL!! so his blonde Roman @$$ was saved! Much to my regret.... lol!

Crassus was easily my fave.... Illythia was up and down for me! LOL! I hated that she took Glaber back instead of killing him, but that would have been the easy solution! LMAO!

i loved Lucy and Jaime in GODS OF THE ARENA.... all of their scenes together were.... OMG!! HAWT~ lol!

I know it was always like I'd know Sura was his one and only but he loved his other ladies in his own way :(

This is the only criticism I have for this series - it's Ceasar. It'd always be tricky writing him into the story but I'd expected him to have much more smarts and be MORE ppl savvy then he was ya know? I guess I've just been spoilt by Jeremy Sisto's fantastic interpretation of Julius Caesar :) you should watch it it's on YouTube

Oh Illythia the most controversial of all. Although her end was gruesome - her baby
Jaimie and Lucy rocked it  if only Xena and Gabby had that chemistry I might have shipped them :lmao:
