I'm thinking it will take more than an online test to tell if a person is truly racist.

That said some of the tests didn't come up for me..and do you have to take all of them to tell?

I didn't take them all, just a few ones where I thought my views were pretty solid. And of course it's not enough to tell if a person is truly racist, but it shows unconscious thoughts and associations we have.

I think everyone's at least prejudiced in some way. I am, I know, I just try not to let it have an impact on how I interact with people.

I don't think the idea is to be perfect, I think it's to try our best.

I don't think I'm racist. But I'm sure I've been prejudiced and made snap judgments. I just try to rise above that, and I'd want someone to do the same for me.

I don't think an online test can determine whether or not you're racist but I do believe that everyone is racist in some way. I mean, you may not be racist outloud but you can never tell what someone's thinking so you might be racist inside.

Race, being a social construct, is something we all notice, even if you're the least racist person around.

Race isn't really a social construction. I mean, there are people that are different races. What is a social construction is the hierarchy of race, where Blacks are put below Whites and Hispanics fall below Whites and Blacks and all that kind of stuff.

I think perhaps there is a part of race that is a social construct, at least inasmuch as there has been, over time, and there remains a lot of "racial mixing". The part where we look like one thing isn't a social construct, but there's still a decision that's made there to associate looks with racial identity.

No, you don't. They ask you for details for theor survey but you can still take the tests if you don't provide them.

I don't think any test can give you a full picture, but it can raise some interesting points.

Yeah, I took a test kind of like this for a psychology project based on attractiveness. Like, what kind of people did I find more physically appealing. Of course, I don't know what the results of the experiment were, but I was surprised at my own results. I normally have a tendency to date very masculine men, but the men that I found more attractive on the test tended to be more effeminate and have a lighter bone structure than the men I date, which led me to the interesting conclusion that I might simply be dating these masculine men because of certain social expectations and conditioned responses instead of my actual attraction to them. Either way, it was really quite fascinating.
