Yeah, but when we'll see the real action will be for a while, I bet. Too much red tape to expect any action during Obama's presidential term, I think.

Oh yeah. No one can politicize religion like the US can. We win, hands down.

I think the bill that passed in the House was watered down but it did have the provision that insurance companies can't deny coverage for a pre-existing condition so that's one small victory.

It remains to be seen what happens in the Senate.

The Republican congressman that kept on objecting everytime pro-choice Democratic Congresswomen spoke was a big jerk. I'm sure he's a hero in some quarters but it would be poetic justice if he loses his seat next election to a Democratic woman.
