Robert Blake Found Not Guilty

Just saw it on CNN. He was found not guilty on the first and third charge and there was a hung jury on the second one. That one was 11-1 not guilty.
I guess being a celebrity means you can get away with murder litterally. Sad huh?

Wow, he definitely got away with it.

Wouldn't 11-1 constitute a hung jury, since you need all 12 to form a concrete vote?

Yes but the judge asked which way the vote was leaning towards before it became a hung jury. I don't know why they were asked.

From what I've heard on Court Tv. That wasn't the case, The Judge didn't want to go through it all again, so she made the final decision of dismissing it . I've been keeping up to date pretty much with this whole scene.. I have to say, I'm glad he was found not guilty.

I've lost faith in the Judicial system a long time ago, they love to put innocent people in jail for something they didn't do. Weather Blake was guilty or not, no one knows really. All the evidence was circumstantial. They didn't prove their case, that simple. Jmo of course~

i have to whole heartly agree with that.......i just completed jury duty last week....in the united states a person is innocent...(emphasis is on is) until proven guilty....the burden of proof is on the prosecution......this was emphasized more than once by the the judge, the defense and even the prosecution of the trial that i juried on.....

Thank You. I'm glad someone sees it the same way as I do. Really if there isn't enough evidence, what more can someone do. It has nothing to do with that person being a celb or not being one. Shoot, Martha spent 5/6 months in jail, and was found guilty. So how can one say it has anything to do with celb status. That's why they have jury's, to weigh the evidence & if it's enough, and proven without a doubt that said person is guilty, they go buh byes.. But if there is that shadow, they have the right to a fair trial. Of course Jmo though

I definitely think that he did it, so I'm shocked and disappointed that he was found Not Guilty.

True Martha Stewart went to jail but then again she wasn't accused of murdering someone.
Perhaps I should reword my statement and say that only celebrities who are accused of murder get away with it.
This is JMO of course.

Maybe he did do it, they just didn't have enough evidence to convict him. I didn't follow the case so I can't say whether I think he's guilty or not, but did they have any other suspects? I find it really hard to believe he literally 'got away with murder'.

I think he got away with Murder. Wasn't there a hit man that came forward and said Blake hired him or something like that?

Yes, two, but I believe they had both lied to police and were drug addicts among other things; the jury had a hard time believing what they said.
