You know one thing I learned from the debates is that Kerry must be a magician. I can't even begin to count the number of times he referenced "the Bush tax cuts."

Apparently these tax cuts were A LOT more than I realized, because Kerry claimed they could have made Social Security last until 2075 (I'd love to see the math on THAT one!), not to mention fund just about every freaking program we have from health care to education.

So go ahead Kerry, wave your magic wand, roll back the tax cuts and let's see if all these problems REALLY DO disappear. On second thought, DON'T. I'm not going to risk my future in the hands of a magician.

GO BUSH! WOOT WOOT! THIS IS IT! 14 DAYS UNTIL GEORGE BUSH IS RE-ELECTED. :roswell_jim:

Actually 14 days till (hopefully) Bush is gone, and he won't be re-elected, it'll be the first time he's elected.

And I'd like to see Bush be a magician and make all these problems (that he created) go away.

Kerry is going to have to do a lot to fix the mess Bush has made.

That's not unusual. People have been making fun of the way Bush and Kerry look for quite a while. That's just the way it goes with public figures.

The truth does hurt, that's why Moore left half of it out.

And Wes&FredFan At least Kerry went to war unlike your deserter of a president.
Kerry knows how to kill better than Bush!...yay!! He's a war criminal!...yay!!

Hmm...a possible deserter, or a self-proclaimed war criminal. Who's better?

I don't know. I do know that our choices aren't that great though!

And the bandaids with purple hearts - that's LOW! Like I said, at least Kerry went to war - shall we hand out medals for not showing up for National Guard Duty.
I agree...that is kind of low.

Serious or not, he was injured...and that's never a laughing matter. Kerry should definitely be respected for his service. Of course, I also believe that Bush should be respected for his service. But maybe that's just me.

I am going to respond to this and then leave it at that, I am not going to start a fight here. If anyone wants to they can PM me.

I wasn't talking about Kerry or Bush - I was talking about Moore and how people can't debate what he says so they make fun of him.

Like what? PM me I would like to know. I don't believe this, but I would like to know what you are talking about.

Our choices aren't always that great but we aren't running for President.

Kerry isn't a war criminal - that's an insulting and outgeous claim. You can say Bush is a war criminal for what he's done.

We agree for once!

What service? Bush didn't have any service. Kerry actually served, Bush didn't, I'm confused how you can Bush did.

PM me if you want, I'm ending it here.

I know you don't want to start a fight...that's why I don't have a problem with anything you've said. You're just very passionate...and that's cool.

As far as sending you a PM, maybe some other time.

Yeah, I know...and I was talking about public figures in general.

I wasn't arguing with you, I was just saying that it's not unusual.

He left out the half where the Democratic Party was blamed for their action, or inaction...however you want to look at it.

Now, we've been over this before, and people say that he didn't have to criticize the Democrats, and I agree, he didn't have to. But our goverment is run by two parties, not just one...and not just one person. So without that criticism, half of the truth was left out.

It's important for people to know that the problem is bigger than the Bush family.

You're right, we're not running for President...not yet anyway! But you have to throw the 'not yet' in...I mean, I plan on running for President once I hit that required age.

Anyway, Kerry was the one that said he is a war criminal. I'm just going by what he said.

I guess I just don't see service in the National Guard as some small thing.

But oh well. Maybe I'll PM you later.

That's true.

Bush did some amount of service, just not all that was required of him. And he never fought in a war or risked his life for his country like John Kerry.

True he didn't fight in the war and Kerry did. But what does that have to do with the ability to lead the country?

Yet you come into a thread full of Bush supporters and bash him

Anyways, just stopped by to say hello and share my support for Bush. If my birthday were a few months earlier, i would be voting for him.

Awww I wish you could vote since you would vote for the right guy. But support means a lot too! Glad to see you stop in - don't be a stranger!

Not a whole lot in my opinion.

Just trying to point out the hypocrisy of the Bush supporters who say that Kerry is some sort of wimp who's weak on terror and defense.

Yeah, you can PM me if you want...I don't mind. I'm about to watch a movie though, so it might take me a while to respond.

I was defending Kerry and saying what I wanted to about Bush and how hypocritical people here were being. Not that I'd expect you to understand.

I doubt any of us really give a care if YOU think we're being hypocritical. Anyways why didn't you just post your thoughts on the hyprocrite thread we have right now? I think that's a more appropriate place to discuss this than the Conservatives thread.

I agree. This is a thread for Republicans where you'll find mostly Bush supporters, so by coming in here and saying what you did, you've been viewed as trying to start a fight. There are PLENTY of times I would love to reply to some ridiculous thing posted on the Democrat thread, but I stay out, out of respect. I expect the same from the Democrats.
