Awesomeness all around. I love our monthly post counts. And Jerry is totally right: It just goes to show what we can do when we all pull together.

The weekly post count is a little inaccurate, because we had a power outage yesterday (due to thunderstorms), which knocked out our cable connection. So, instead of being a Sunday to Sunday post count, it's Sunday to Monday. Eight days instead of seven. Bear that in mind.

All the same, I think we did all kinds of awesome.

Basically, though, I think we don't need the drama in order to keep our posts up. We didn't need it before, we don't need it now. Sure, we dipped for a while there. But that was just because we didn't realize the importance of our vigilance. We do now. We'll do better.

I think one of the things about this board is that a lot of the interesting news grows old fast. Not in a bad way, but sometimes news is a one or two day thing and then forgotten. I read a lot of the most random news all over the web, but never post it because it is not really discuss-able aside from a few "that is funny" or "I can't believe that" comments. It would just clutter up the board. Do you think that a thread where we could post these random one time news articles we see could increase post count? Maybe "Random/Funny/Odd News" or something? Would that be appropriate? Sometimes that kind of news is fun to read. I would have a lot to post on that thread
