This to me atleast sounds like one big excuse to molest children. This guy basically can go into any of his followers house and pick out any of their children to marry him and the families don't do anything about it. | |||

| I'm a Mormon, and I live in Utah. This story has been all over the news for a while now. It's pretty sick, people like Jeffs give LDS people and Utah in general a bad name. I've found that a lot of people have horrible misconceptions about Mormons. Someone once asked me we all ride bikes, if we own TV's, weird stuff, like they think we are living in a different century. The only differences really between Mormons and mainstream culture, is that we don't drink Alchohol, Coffee, or Tea. We don't smoke. We aren't supoosed to gamble or watch R rated movies but it sometimes happens, and we are asked not to wear overly revealing clothing or get tattoos. I mean, those are just little things that are just wise ideas to follow in general. I don't know. My point is, I worry that people see Jeffs or read about him and think that he represents LDS culture and belifes, it's kind of annoying. __________________ If the meaning of your marriage can be cheapened by the marriage of two men, how much could it have been worth to begin with? | |||
