I don't consider myself a feminist but I do share many beliefs. To be honest I think most women here would score 75% or higher or any woman not wanting the same rights and decisions as men, but it would be interesting to see how the men would do.

All of this because I'm not sure that women should have an equal responsibility in asking men out on a date. And the only reason behind that is that I don't have the guts to ask a guy out. So, you know, I'd rather have it be a societal rule that men do the asking and women carry the babies.

I answered Strongly Agree on all but 2 questions. I answered Agree to #2 I simply think there are a very select few jobs best suited for a man just like there are jobs best suited for women.

I don't go as far as Sunny lol but I do think men are expected to pay on the 1st date. The baby carrying thing is God's fault!

Well, see, I wouldn't necessarily expect the man to pay on the first date. I mean, it's a bit of a grey area because, obviously, if the man does the asking... it kinda leads to him doing the paying. Plus, I wouldn't want to offend anyone by splitting the bill (though, mind you, I've done it; both the splitting the bill and the ensuing offending).

It's just that I seem to have absolutely no radar for when a guy's into me. Except, you know, the much older (and, as it happens, much drunker) crowd. In which case, I'm like catnip and it's hard to miss.

But, you know (this is getting embarassing), guys in my age bracket. I can't tell. So I'm not jumping off the ledge for nothing, you know? If I had a clue, I might try it. But the risks of hitting my nose against a brick wall are too great. I'd rather wait for him (whomever he may be) to make the first move.

Well I won't speak for all guys, but I appreciate when a woman offers. I've been taken advantage of in the past & it's not cool if the girl expects to be paid for. I wouldn't be insulted if she insisted on paying, but it would make me wonder if she was only doing it b/c she wasn't interested in a 2nd date.

Can I ask how old you are? I'm not sure I see the risk of going up to someone that you don't know to begin with? At worst the guy will be flattered & say sorry I'm just not interested. I can't imagine a guy would be hurtful about it. It's the girls that are harder to approach & get a read on IMO because A) they tend to gather in groups B) they're generally more conscience about their appearance C) they're more likely to gossip

I think the greater risk is never knowing what might have been then getting over another rejection.
