| Political Avatars + Icons - Propaganda in a box! Well, I don't see why this board should be devoid of an avatar and icon thread as well. I know that on LJ I've seen many political icons, and why not display our views? The only rule I would see fit is to link to any offensive or controversial subject matter. We don't want to offend anybody so just link to it with a warning. A few suggestions for avatars are those of political leaders and influential people, witty phrases/quotes, Jon Stewart avatars, and national symbols. Parties   Flags         __________________ | |||

I agree, I vote for the candidate, not the party. Also, I think that making political statements is the primary thing we do on this board. If we're not able to express ourselves through icons and things of that nature then why are we allowed to say them? It just seems odd to me. | Step 1 - You find one that you like. Step 2 - Right click. Step 3 - Click on "properties." Step 4 - Highlight the URL provided. Step 5 - With it highlighted, right click and select copy, or with it highlighted hit ctrl+c. Step 6 - Go to user cp. Step 7 - Go to edit avatar. Step 8 - Scroll to the bottom where it says, "Enter Avatar URL." Step 9 - In the box, erase what is there then right click and select paste, or hit ctrl+v. Step 9 - Hit save changes. That's it. Dowloading it then uploading it from your own computer is more reliable but it takes up more memory. PM me if you want instructions on that.
