| I think it'll be good for us and will help regenerate an impoverished area of our city. I'm also quite excited and very proud - I love this city and I hope this will let others know just how great it is. | |||

| I'll admit that I was surprised. I really thought Paris was going to win. Which shows that I know nothing.  I was rooting for New York (cause I kinda have to since I'm from New York) but I never thought we had a shot. Congrats to London!  | |||

| Well the IOC sucks, because they got rid of softball and baseball. Both sports have the Olympics as their pinnicale, and they're going to bring friggen GOLF in! The Olympics should be the pinnicale for the sports in it. Tennis should go as well. __________________ Is this because I'm a lesbian? | |||

| I think it would've been wonderful had New York been chosen to host the Olympics. I would've been able to attend and it would've been a wonderful experience. I knew as soon as the funding was voted down and we wouldn't be getting the stadium that there was no way we'd get to host. Yay for London though ~Chrissy~ __________________ Life is short. | I'm so planning on being there for the Olympics though. (if I'm not married with kids by then) I loved Sydney when we had the Olypmics, but London would almost be as good. __________________ Is this because I'm a lesbian? | |||
