Where were we? Oh i remember now, Jacob needed somewhere to stuff his M&M's.

That shouldn't be a problem i don't think but the bottle of fanta, well that could be rather more awkward.

I don't eat or drink during movies...

First of all, I'm not giving even more of my money for overpriced concession stand crap that tastes awful (theatre popcorn here is, if memory serves, easily the single grossest think I've ever eaten).

Also, I have the world's smallest bladder. Eating makes me thirsty. Being thirsty gives me a headache. And drinking makes me need to go to the bathroom ASAP. So no snacks at the movie theatre.

Sometimes I buy popcorn. But many cinemas aren't as expensive here. And frankly, I don't care about going to the most expensive ones. As nice as those might be.

Once, as a teen, my friends and I stuffed a teddy bear with popcorn and candy .

Why would you do that?

I mean, not that I haven't done my share of weird things. I'm curious what would prompt a person to stuff a teddy bear with food.

Cute idea Vega. And sunny yeah me too - drinking too much in a movie is problematic if you can't press pause.

Popcorn is overrated but sometimes you should be allowed to spoil yourself at the movie theater. Besides, if you don't want to spend a lot then go to a gas station and get some snacks and drinks. And the best way to avoid suspicion is to bring an old person with you like a grandma and ask her to put the snacks and drinks in her purse. People usually give old people a pass on that stuff.
I'm just ready for next week. I want to see The Phantom Mentace in 3D. I'm also tempted to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D.

Can someone answer the question on the debate over women wearing leggings and tights as pants? Is it frowned upon where you live or accepted? Where I live, it's accepted and practiced a lot. I'm not a fashion expert but I always thought that tights and leggings are not pants.

leggins are pants, tights aren't. Yes, there's a fine line between the two but generally, leggings are thicker. I was a child of the early 90s so I wore leggings a lot when I was little but I'm not a huge fan of them now. If it's pants wearing weather, they're not warm enough to do anything. If it's shorts wearing weather then leggings are too hot.

Normally, my girlfriend and I go to the local pharmacy, like Walgreens or CVS, they have big boxes of candy there for $1 and we buy a couple of those and then we'll get our drinks at the theater. Even in the summer, we normally wear a sweatshirt or light jacket because the theaters can get so cold, so we put them in pockets and we're ready to go.

We bought alot of stuff in a convenience store close to our homes to eat inside the movie theater and we needed a place to put them in . We didn't have big purses so we used a teddy bear .

For those of a certain generation, i believe that is an example of Super Ted in action.

Oh and we ha da good several inches of snow last night, a beautiful white carpet out there which has illuminated all around with a luminous air. Thus far however, i have mainly been on the receiving end of snowballs, something i intend to remedy later. Hmph.

I'm still debating on whether or not to see The Artist in the theater. I want to see it just to see what the big deal is but I'm not sure if I will make it. I'm pretty lenient and open minded when I go to the movie theater and watch a movie but The Artist is a silent movie.

That's what I thought on the leggings and tights as pants debate. Some women can look good and attractive in leggings while others not so much. If you look good in them and it makes you happy, why not?
Do men underestimate women when it comes to using their looks and femaleness to their advantage or do women underestimate their own looks and femaleness? I would say women use that tactic more than men mainly because men are weaker in that department. It's easier for a woman to get a man to do something if she uses her looks than vice versa.

Vega Fair enough. And indeed, very resourceful.

Nick Yeah, it may be early to start freaking out, but we're having way above seasonal average temperatures here. Of course, it probably just means we'll have a sucky summer to make up for it. But it looks and smells like spring right now, when February is normally the coldest month of the year.

Jacob If you're going in to see a movie thinking there's a good chance you won't like it, I would recommend saving your money. Especially if you're only going in to prove that you're open-minded. Seems to me the reason to go see a movie is because you want to and it looks entertaining to you. Otherwise, save your money.

As for people wearing clothes if it makes them look good... if that were the rule, more than half of the population would be forced to stay inside their home. People should wear whatever the heck they want to wear, so long as they're comfortable and it follows the basic principles of either their work's dress code or decency norms where they live.

As for who uses their power of attraction more, men or women... I have no earthly idea. But, yeah, I would imagine men thinks it's women and women think it's the reverse. Not to hard to see how that would work out.
