The boy was rescued by a woman passing by in her car. The child was in critical condition at a hospital, sheriff's spokesman Jim Leljedal said. | Yeah, I saw this on the news (I live in Florida) and they said the baby didn't even have a bruise on him but then they showed a picture of him and he has a cast on his arm..so I think they got twisted with the facts...but yeah. | What I don't get is that Florida has a law where you can go into a firehouse or a hospital and hand over your newborn no questions asked. This woman dumped her kid, then called it into the police. Why go through all that when you can simply hand it in without risking jail time? | |||
