I'll have to make an effort to get out and do that this summer. ![]() __________________ Phoebe (singing): Happy Hanukkah, Monica. May your Christmas be snowy, Joey. Happy New Year, Chandler and Ross. Spin the dreidel, Rachel! Have a happy holiday & prosperous new year! ![]()

I can feel your passion ![]() And btw, does the old Disney classics count as musicals? There always was a lot of songs in them, anyhow ![]()

I can't remember the last time I even sat down in my own house to watch a movie, let alone went out to see one. Very strange. Callace, old Disney movies are usually regarded as musicals, yes. But I haven't seen very many of those, I must say. I know that sounds weird. But we weren't very much in touch with current cultural things in my house. The first one I remember seeing was The Lion King, and I was... at least a tween if not a full-on teen when that came out. Well, it's been a very rainy day here in Montreal. Which suited my mood just fine. I was very drowsy and tired most of the day. But, hey, I pulled through. Now I've got the VCR ready to tape So You Think You Can Dance while I do the Third Watch re-watch with the folks over at that board... Should be fun! __________________ Sunny "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." avie by Jessie

It makes me feel so old to even say it, but I really can't stand the teenage audience. It's wonderful that they're so reactive, but it's difficult to be around them when they don't see to realize that other people are trying to have an experience as well. __________________ Sunny "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." avie by Jessie

| Fan Forum's Finest ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | terrible rain today I got wet already when I had gotten out from the police station and down town to an ATM to get money for the bus. Only to find that the security guards are on strike, so that most ATMs in town are out of money,So then I had to walk all the further, to find a place where I could get the cash I needed, and was so soaked by the time I was finally home, that I had to change most of my clothes. | |||

Over here, we had a very short, very random power outage earlier today. It didn't last more than an hour and it was only 8 p.m., so it was still quite light out, but it was kinda shocking in that you don't realize how much you rely on electricity till its not an option! __________________ Sunny "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." avie by Jessie

| Fan Forum's Finest ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I actually love power outages. When I was a kid, they usually meant candle lit supper, with storytelling around the table, and jokeful guesses of how long it would take till the power was back. I was nearly disappointed when it did, the lights went on again, and everyone went back to their business![]() | |||

| Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oh, I totally agree! I loved power outages as a kid for exactly those reasons. It's like taking a break from your life. The only issue I now have is that, when I was a kid, my parents were in charge of figuring out what we ate. As an adult, without electricity, I was a bit stumped as to what I might eat. ![]() And we were at the very beginning of what is turning out to be a super muggy weekend, so it might have gotten really hot. But, fortunately, the power came back rapidly. And it's been a lazy weekend ever since. ![]() __________________ Sunny "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." avie by Jessie | |||

| Fan Forum's Finest ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, things get a little more complicated as an adult But a lot of food is best served cold (and ought to be eaten, if the fridge is to be unfunctional for any stretch of time![]() And we fortunately dont have the heat problem over here. If the power goes out, it gets cold, not hot. So then it is just to put on an extra sweater ![]() | |||
