I did introduce myself, but then when the boards went away for a while ago, it got lost...

So, I'm Lorna, I'm 22 and at the moment I live in the UK - I'm moving to South Africa in September this year. I am going to work and live at a monkey rehabilitation centre out there, which is something I have wanted to do my entire life!
I've been posting here since FanForum started back in 1998....which is a bit scary really! The last 8 years have gone so fast!

I'm a vegetarian, pro-choice, anti-Bush, support animal rights, pro-gay marriage (which thankfully is already legal in the UK). I was raised Catholic but I dont think I believe in God anymore, and I'm still trying to work it all out in my head...lol I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for almost 8 months - we met last year when we were volunteering in South Africa.

I loved Dawson's Creek when it first started - which is why I first came to FF, back when there were only about 5 boards! lol - now I like The O.C., Desperate Housewives, Charmed, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition....basically any American drama-y stuff! I hardly watch any British TV really!

I guess I should update my info slightly since my last one is outdated:

I'm Kristine, but just call me Kris for short because a lot of people have problems just to spell my name

18, turning 19 as of July 10. Still currently residing in Hawaii. All the personal info could be found on my MySpace page (I actually still have that?) Currently attending a community college.

I'm not much of a political person, though I do loathe Bush and have taken notice on how much our country has changed. I don't take sides between liberals and republicans but rather just throw my two cents on any issue whether involving politics, government, and whatever

I think that's it...

Hi, I'm Rugar and I'm 21...yay

I am not a fan of politics, but since some of this stuff affects me, I like to have a say in it. I am an Independent because I can never find myself agreeing with one party most of the time. Sometimes I agree with Republicans on one issue, then agree more with the Democrats on another issue, or maybe the Green Party, etc.

Been posting here a while now but never made a formal introduction, I don't think. So here goes:

Well, whaddaya know? I'm also called Sha. But you could safely say I hold very different political views than the Sha posting above. So to make it easier on the forum you can just call me Papri or Shahnaz (my full name).

I'm from the UK, have no strong afflitiation of none of the main political parties here; if I lived in the US I'd be probably be a Democrat. I value human rights seriously, am pro-gun control (sorry, but why wouldn't you be?), anti-war, peace loving, vegetarian hippy. (okay, kidding about the veggie hippy thing ). I'm a Muslim, female and Asian, and have enjoy healthy debate.

Hi guys. My name is Nina, 21 (turning 22 in August) and I live in the Philippines.

This is such a great, what do you call it, section in Fanforum? Thread? I guess what I like about here is that reading the news and different opinions serve as an eye opener. We're dealing with real issues here. I'm so happy that I cruised this section.

And people here seem very intelligent too.

Hi! I'm Nikki.

I rarely, if ever, visit this board because I am not big on discussing politics, but I am the temporary moderator for a while here so I am looking forward to getting to know the board and posters a little better.

If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know. Thanks!

We're not as bad as you think we are really, we can play nice.

And you moderate Without a Trace - I really should check that show out again. I quit after they shot my sweet, sweet Danny!

You should definitely watch WAT again!

Danny is my favorite, too, but he's alright now. He's waiting for you to come back and watch him.

Hello, I'm Gwendolyn but call me Gwen firstly because it's easier; and secondly because everyone else does! I'm Singaporean, agnostic, I turned 19 this year and I moderate the Music board. As you can see. I am always awed by people with huge post counts because I don't post that much myself (obviously!) - I don't post things as a general rule unless I do actually have something to say. Not that it really matters, post counts and such...

I'm pro choice, pro gay marriage, so I don't agree with Bush on a lot of things. That doesn't make me Democratic however (and anyway this doesn't really apply because I don't live in the States and all!) Besides I'm not that politically aware although I try (I'm reading the main section of the newspapers now, not just the sports and entertainment section, haha). I didn't really come here that often in the past but it's fun to have real discussion so I think I'll swing by more often

I love Arsenal FC and Radiohead, but I like lots of music really - but I like indie stuff best, and some chillout too. I love reading, and indie films, and walking when the weather is cool and slightly windy, although I like walking no matter what, actually. I don't watch much TV, so I don't go to the TV section of FF So yes. That's about it, I think - thanks for reading this!

Ann: It's really not that big of a pit.
Leslie: We can do some of those things.

Hi Gwen, welcome to the board. The fact you are an Arsenal fan is just a bonus!

Wow, really cool do you live in London, and therefore get to watch the team in the stadium (which I will call Ashburton Grove and not Emirates Stadium!) often? You should stop by the football thread in the sports board, I'm the only Arsenal fan there

I went to one match, many, many years ago but all my friends are huge fans so some of it has rubbed off on me. Alas poor Highbury - its being turned into flats!
