| Hi everyone. I'm Marisa, the most politically active 14-year old you'll find.  I don't really consider myself anything, but I'm more Libertarian than anything (smaller federal government, more state rights). I used to be a Democrat, but I've been pretty disappointed with the Democrats lately. I'm pro-choice and pro-gay marriage. I think that our current administration has done more damage in 5 years than any president has done in 8. | 17 / M / NJ i don't side with any parties since non really truly stay with their beliefs but i guess if i had to choose, it would be with the Democrats. I consider myself a cautious liberal. Two issues i have problems with is gay rights / marriage .. i believe they are people and don't understand why they should be withheld equal rights as straights. The second is the death penalty. | 19/F/AL My name is Robyn, and I'm closer to Independent than I am anything. I'd consider myself an Independent more than anything right now. GWB has royally screwed up the country, and right now, none of the major leaders in the Republican or Democratic parties are the answer. Beliefs-wise, I lean towards Democrat. I'm a political science major, and I'm planning on moving to DC within the year. | Hi everyone, this is my very time posting on this board, and I'm a little nervous, can you tell? I'm Shobhna, 17 (almost 18, though  ) from India. I'm in my last year of highschool and am still contemplating what to do next year, I did have plans to go to the US since my sister is in Columbia University and I wanted to study somewhere around the NY area, but I'm not so sure anymore, we'll just have to see if I leave the country at all after all. ETA: Oy, how could I forget? I am pro-choice, but personally against abortion I am pro-gay rights I am a liberal atheist I am a vegetarian, and an ardent supporter of animal rights and ban of fur and other animal products.
