Jessica Durham pleaded not guilty in US District Court in Billings. After a one-day trial Wednesday, the judge said he would consider written arguments and rule later. The judge said he hasn't seen a case like this. According to court documents, a friend of the defendant took photos of the toddler smoking a bong pipe. The friend testified that Durham told her she let her daughter smoke marijuana because the girl wasn't eating or sleeping enough. (Copyright 2004 by The Associated Press. | Unbelievable. She let her smoke marijuana because she wasn't eating enough or sleeping enough? I honestly don't understand the stupidity of some people. Call me crazu, but if your child isn't eating or sleeping enough shouldn't you bring them to the DOCTOR to have them looked at. It could be a really serious problem. This is just another example of how common sense has gone right out the door. | |||

| Why are these people allowed to procreate? I really would like to know. And I agree, if you think there may be something wrong with your child, you take them to a doctor, you don't give them weed. | I also think that she should have taken the baby to the doctor instead of gving her drugs. I think the person who took pictures should have taken the marijuana away from the little girl instead of just taking pictures. __________________ Family Ties Seasons 1-5 on dvd! | |||
