Well, here we go again guys.

Any guesses as to the results? What's going on in your state? Any shockers?

I'm anxious and I'm not even American. Here's to hoping that the Democrats win.

But most importantly, VOTE AMERICA!

Here we go again. You'd think in America that by now we could get a proper voting system but I guess not.

I'm really not surprised. Are all these troubles caused by digital voting? In the last election, that's how I voted, but now that I moved it was different. I got back not too long ago from voting and we had that ballot where you have to draw the line. Good news though is that for the House, the Democratic candidate was running unopposed. Alabama doesn't have any Senate seats open this year and both are occupied by Republicans though.

Paper ballots are the most reliable kind in my opinion. I'm not talkiing about the chad type ballots though. I think those suck. I voted about an hour ago and my ballot was one where you got a pen and marked your choices. I had some trouble with my ballot mainly because I think it was just my 3rd time to vote. However, I wasn't embarassed or ashamed to ask for help. I asked for help and I got it. I was suprised to see that there were a lot of Libertarian candidates on the ballot.

How's turnout? A couple of people I know in the States said the polling place they went too was packed!

Democracy rocks doesn't it? : )

CNN said Virginia is expecting a record turnout, along the lines of a presidential election.

My state, Minnesota, is having a great voter turnout. I have a personal interest in our governor race because the present guy, Tim Pawlenty, has cut funding for the handycapped and elderly severely after a big state strike we had a while back. I work as a personal care assistant and this has really affected my job, and the family I work for. I so hope that the Minnesota people will vote for Mike Hatch. It's really close right now with Hatch leading the polls by less than 3%. The polls don't really matter at all here though. When Jesse Ventura won he started out down in the polls by 20%.

In Texas, nothing exciting is going on. I'm pretty sure that Rick Perry is gonna win another term as governor. Perry is suprisingly for stell cell research. If Kinky and Strayhorn hadn't been on the ballot, I bet the Democrat candidate Chris Bell would have had a legitimate shot at winning. I was tempted to vote for Kinky and Strayhorn but I felt like I would be giving my vote away if I voted one of them. There weren't any ballot measures on my ballot. I think mainly because Texas is extremely conservative and Republican. But we do have Democrats and liberals here.

I'm pretty sure Missouri will take forever considering the ballots just closed at seven in St. Louis. I voted earlier this morning with no problems. My grandma accidently voted for the wrong person though.

The Democrats picked up the Senate seats in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

They also beat two Republican incumbents in New Hamphire and Indiana.

I think it's going to be a long night though..should be exciting.

Haha me too, but I'm trying not to be that excited about it.
