| well....you don't cook pot, though. also....you said wal-mart in your title, but it looks like this happened at a k-mart. i know, not much difference, but walmart is for the really trashy white trash. k-mart's just for regular white trash. __________________ If looks could really kill, then my profession would be staring / know we do this cause we care and not for the thrill .... | I don't really think it's a laughing matter. Making meth is very dangerous and they were lucky no one was hurt. Do some research on it. You will find out that it can cause explosions and fires not to mention a whole wealth of other problem. There are a lot of accidents from it and we read about it quite often here in Nebraska. Quote:

| it was tongue in cheek...but it is the truth, in a sense. wal-mart can probably make $250 billion in revenue because there is an incredibly large amount of poor and lower middle class people living in america. therefore, while the majority of the the wealth is still, with the top 2% or so, the majority of americans are struggling fincancially (or at least not very well off, if they aren't struggling). being from a small town, also, the only people i ever see in wal-mart were people brought in by the allure of "lower prices"...meaning, if they were living in the hills and their yearly income was more than $60,000, it was very very unlikely to see them shopping in wal-mart. they'd just go to costco. __________________ If looks could really kill, then my profession would be staring / know we do this cause we care and not for the thrill .... | I'm pretty sure it all depends on where you are in the country too. The Wal-Mart near me has people from all ends of the spectrum it seems, except for the extremely wealthy. I like it not only because of the low prices, but the fact that that they have everything there (well most of the time). I'm not "white trash" though and I don't like that phrase really. I think calling someone trash because they're poor is a bad as calling someone a ****** because they're black. | |||

| I changed the title to K-Mart instead of Wal-Mart. Why didn't he just take it to his own home? I understand that his home may have made it more specifically suspicious to him, but at least he would be able to be more subtle about it. If he was going to do it in a public place, he should learn a little thing called stealth. And perhaps not do it at all. I don't really think of Wal-Mart as a store for white-trash. I mean, I don't buy clothing from there but sometimes we go there for groceries. A lot of people I know use it, it's just sort of a convenient stop. Though, most people in my area, myself included, prefer Target. Rarely anybody shops at K-Mart anymore. __________________ | |||

| If you ask me, Target isn't that great. They try and have flashy, hip advertising, which more often than not is just lame or annoying, but their products aren't that much better than Wal-Mart and their prices are a lot higher. | |||
