I figured I'd post this here since this is what's going to be all over the news this week.




Late Saturday afternoon, Jennifer Lopez, 34, stunned the showbiz world by marrying singer Marc Anthony, 35, in a casual ceremony at her Beverly Hills home, witnesses and friends told PEOPLE.

Lopez's publicist neither confirmed nor denied the wedding, but witnesses at the scene reported seeing Lopez in a wedding gown. A tent was erected earlier in the day, the property was bedecked with balloons and musicians could be heard playing Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" � a wedding favorite � during the afternoon.

The marriage, Lopez's third, comes just months after her whirlwind 18-month relationship with Ben Affleck � which included a postponed September 2003 wedding, a box-office disaster and a break-up and a make-up � finally went belly up in January. She had yet to even publicly acknowledge a romance with Anthony, an old flame whose own marriage to Dayanara Torres did not end until they were granted a divorce in the Dominican Republic last Monday.

Lopez�s family were in town from New York. A source said that Lopez had invited everyone to her house for a �beautiful afternoon party,� but none of them knew she planned on getting married. �It was a surprise,� said the source.

At 6:22 p.m., the bride walked across the backyard with a white umbrella while the guests clapped and cheered. She wore Neil Lane jewelry from head to toe, including a necklace and bracelet. At around 7 p.m., big band music began after guests went into a white tent. Lopez�s mom, Guadalupe, was in attendance and embraced new son-in-law Anthony for a long time after the ceremony. "She looked beautiful," said a source.

Rumors of a wedding had circulated since mid-week, and PEOPLE reported that despite Lopez's reluctance to go public with her romance to Anthony, the pair were in love and had consulted with a wedding planner to figure out how to tie the knot.

Lopez and Anthony � who share a love of the stage as well as a Puerto Rican heritage � dated in April 1999. A few months later she hooked up with Sean "Puffy" Combs. Their relationship lasted until 2001. Three months later, she was engaged to Cris Judd, one of her backup dancers. They wed in September 2001. By the following June, that marriage had floundered and Lopez was keeping company with Affleck, whom she met on the set of �Gigli,� which subsequently bombed when it was released last year.

Lopez's first marriage was to Ojani Noa. The pair split in 1998.

For his part, Affleck has struck up new romance with a woman in Boston, where he has been spending much of the past two weeks. He was scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles this weekend.

In May 2000, Anthony married beauty queen Dayanara Torres in Las Vegas. Anthony and Torres split in July 2002, renewed their vows a few months later, and then split for good in October 2003.

Hmm..I don't know. This may be the one. Think about it:

They were dating in 99' and then broke up (remaining best friends). He dated Dayanara Torres. Feeling the blow, she dated puffy. When that didn't work out and Marc MARRIED Dayanara, she did one better and married Chris Judd. She knew she wasn't in love and then stumbled across Ben. Ben was everything a woman wants in a guy: "sweet, funny, romantic, caring, and just as much in the industry as she is." She divorced Chris and moved on with Ben. Then things got out of control and they started having problems right around the same time that Marc was having problems with Dayanara. Maybe they started to become confidants and fell in love once again (she always loved Marc.) Jennifer broke up with Ben and Marc divorced his wife. Now their married.

But if I'm wrong, I give it a year or two.

Just glad Ben Affleck managed to escape in time. As for this marriage I give it a year. They seem to have history. But man I think she's got some serious issues

I give it seven months. That gives him time to put out another album and her time to make a few more movies and then they can grow apart and break up.

Unfortunately, I think she's a lost cause, but Marc Anthony, what the heck was he thinking. He should've at least waited til the ink was dry on his divorce papers.

I'll give it till Christmas. By then she'll be in love with a new music/movie star she's worked with.
