How do you get your daily dose of news?

I hope it's okay to post this but I was curious as to how you guys get your daily dose of news?

For me, I usually get it from the Internet (preferably MSNBC) and on t.v.

Good topic.

I read a couple newspapers (mostly online, sometimes one on paper) and check out a few blogs.

Sometimes I like to see how the networks are covering (or not covering) a story, but I don't much like TV news.

I check Yahoo, DailyKos and Globe & Mail on a regular basis. I also check other sites but not as much as the other three.

It's a mixed bag for me.

I catch some in the metro (they have a news highlights thingy on the screen in there as well as free papers), I catch come online and I catch some at night while checking out the CTV, LCN, BBC, CNN, etc. news programs. I rarely stick to one channel... probably because I don't have the attention span.

And then, naturally, there is the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Hour, neither of which are out and out actual news shows, but they do have news content.

But, yeah, what emerges is, at best, described as a mixed bag.

washingtonpost.com, cnn.com, msnbc.com...the only news I watch on TV is CNN, the 4 hours a week they don't run Larry King Live for the 373rd time.

I was watching myself, watching the news... in light of this subject and everything... And, as it turns out, very little of my time watching the 24-hour new channels winds up being spent actually watching the stories. I tend to just read the crawl (is that how that's spelled?).

I typically see what the main headlines are on MSN when I get on my computer at work. Maybe twice a week I watch the local news.

Interesting topic.

I usually read the daily newspaper first thing in the morning and listen to the news on the radio on my way to work.

Then there are some online sites I visit on a daily basis and I try to watch the news at least once a day as well. There are also some weekly magazines I read on a regular basis.

I stream CNN live online. I once watched a car chase for a good 30 minutes. Nobody got hurt thankfully. It was actually kinda boring because he seemed to be going in circles the whole time. lol
