| Hotel Rwanda- thoughts I think its okay for this thread to be here. Yes its a movie, but I think it has implications on news/politics. I cant BELIEVE that we let genocide happen again. I feel so ashamed right now...Where was the west? where was the UN? God. That movie should be required viewing. __________________ This space for rent. | |||

| I agree. The movie was wonderful. I thought about starting a thread for it on the Movies board. But I think it might have more discussion here. It's so hard to think about what happened. And the fact that it was ignored is unbelievable. But it did happen and we ignored it. I was talking to a co-worker about it. And she mentioned that nothing made a dent through the OJ Simpson trial coverage at the time. I had forgotten about that, but she made a very good point. | |||
