Looks like a hundred of presumed Al-Quaeda members have been captured but the target Ayman al-Zawahri wasn't among them.

But Pakistani officials have dismissed speculation that it is Osama Bin Laden's deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri, regarded as the brains behind al-Qaeda.

The commander of the Pakistani operation, Gen Saftar Hussein, said intercepted telephone conversations suggested the principal target was an Uzbek or Chechen militant commander, who might have fled the area.

I may be in the minority but I feel that they should have kept quiet that they had him surrounded until they caught him for sure.

I totally agree!!! Announcing that they had them surrounded was probally the stupidest thing ever, because if they*d kept it quiet, it woulda been alot easier to... oh, I don*t know... SUPRISE THEM!!!
