| Have you read newspapers and watch news when you were a kid or a teenager? Just to show how mature and "grown up" you are in front of the oldies by being very updated with current affairs I sometimes used to do that, but now at this age I find politics, news, bussiness and big issues to be boring Infact I'm more interested in trivial things like for example "which is you favorite alphabet"...LMAO 11 months ago | |||

| Hello Hoodenos and welcome to FF. In response to your question, I was more curious about the weather reports than anything. __________________ Phoebe (singing): Happy Hanukkah, Monica. | I like to say that I grew up with Peter Jennings ![]() Yeah my dad always watched the news (he's a history professor) so by default I did too. I just got hooked and had to know what was going on. Never was a newspaper person though. __________________ | |||

My dad watched the news religiously every night after supper, so I absorbed a lot vicariously through him. And he'd watch the 5:30 program, then the 6 o'clock news and then the 6:30 edition. So, yeah, a lot of news watching growing up. Incidentally, though, if you're interested in trivia or trivial things (I can't tell if this was a typo or not), you might want to check out the Off Topic board. __________________ Sunny "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." avie by Jessie | |||
