I think it's for the best that the show is over. I mean, I can't say whether Jon & Kate can save their marriage but at least the kids won't be in the limelight anymore.

I'm kinda late here, but I completely agree. I can't believe they have the face to do that. Being a celebrity doesn't make you above the law, who do they think they are?

Does anyone know what's happening now with the case?

Did a little searching but couldn't find anything on the status of the case.

Another celeb baby:

BUZZ: Mel Gibson's Girlfriend Gives Birth

Mel Gibson may be a father for the eighth time: His girlfriend, musican Oksana Grigorieva, gave birth to a baby girl, according to reports circulating on the Web. PEOPLE is currently attempting to confirm the news.

The baby, who was due in December, arrived Friday, says RadarOnline.com.

Gibson, 53, has seven children (six sons and a daughter) with his estranged wife Robyn, while Oksana has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

"I have a 12 year old, so I've been a mother for 12 years – and of course, there is no first time mother's trepidation as such," Grigorieva, 39, said on a British TV show in September. "So naturally it's more relaxed, and I'm very dynamic so the pregnancy falls into my work schedule."

In terms of her relationship with the actor-filmmaker, she said, "Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven't thought about it – we haven't spoken about it."

In April, the actor's wife of 30 years, Robyn, filed for divorce. Later that month, he and Grigeorieva made their first public appearance together as a couple.

Caroline, Paul Haggis is a Canadian-born writer/director/producer who's made his name in the U.S. He's the writer and director of Crash, for instance. He wrote Million Dollar Baby, Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima. He wrote the two James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig (i.e. the latest two).

Just, you know, in case you wanted to know.

I'm really sorry to hear about Dennis Hopper. Pancreatic cancer is not one of the ones you get over, usually. The pancreas is behind the stomach and kinda hard to see. So, by the time doctors notice something's up, it's usually too late. Not automatically too late, mind you, but usually.

And Mel Gibson called himself Octo-Mel on the Jay Leno Show, so presumably he's claiming this kid up front. Good on him for the honesty, but he's still one creeptacular dude as far as I'm concerned.

Octo-Mel? Hilarious.

That's right! Paul Haggis was the director for Crash. One of my favorites movies, btw.

No, I didn't know that but thanks.

Hopefully with aggressive treatment there will be some hop of recovery for him.

I think his other 7 kids are of adult age, right?

This just came in:

Polanski Launches Third Bail Attempt

Polanski Launches Third Bail Attempt

Incarcerated filmmaker Roman Polanski has promised authorities he will not try to evade justice if they accept his latest bail offer and grant him his freedom.

The Rosemary's Baby director filed a new bail offer on Monday, following two unsuccessful attempts to convince officials in Switzerland to release him from custody.

His filing is said to have listed "adequate guarantees" that he will not run away from his ongoing legal battle, according to his lawyer Herve Temime.

Polanski has been imprisoned since September on the request of Los Angeles law officials, who want to extradite the star to the U.S. to face sentencing over a 1977 sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl.

He pleaded guilty to the charges but fled the country in 1978 before he could be handed his punishment.

Despite calls from his victim to drop the case, Polanski has been refused bail on two separate occasions over worries he is a "flight risk".

Roman Polansky is the definition of a flight risk. If he's not a flight risk, I don't know who he. I mean, he's got the means and the resources to flee. He's already done it. And he's got a network of friends ready, willing and able to abet him. So, yeah, rot in jail, Polansky.

I really hope Dennis Hopper does well, but his age has got to be a factor in the treatments he'll receive. He's 73. At any age, aggressive treatments are always a risk with cancer. At his age...

I mean, what do I know. But, yeah, I hope for the best.

Yeah, he definitely has the means to take off again. I say he faces the music and get whatever possible sentence or charge that he is supposed to get.

No - Baby Ashley was a little fussy and I ended up missing it. I'm sure it's on Hulu.
